The Honey Brake Story

Honey Brake's 20,000+ acres of agriculture, wetland and swamp wildlife haven in the Louisiana delta region, sits between the world famous waterfowl wintering grounds of Catahoula Lake and the mighty Mississippi River. The result is a bottleneck of migrating ducks and geese, and the Central and Mississippi flyways converging at Honey Brake.

The Lodge at Honey Brake, built in 20010 to accommodate duck hunters, has since expanded to include: The Honey Brake Camp: a 96-bed campus with a large lakefront dining hall; Honey Brake Gun Club: an A/V equipped conference room for corporate events/meetings, an observation tower, a 15-station sporting clays course and an all-weather, anytime 5-stand. Guided hunting operations now include Waterfowl, Louisiana Big Game - Whitetails, Hogs, and Alligators, as well as fishing, small game and dove shooting. Now a year-round resort, Honey Brake hosts corporate retreats to family reunions, to youth camps, bachelor and bachelorette parties.
